ABOUT ABOUT

Today, there are five generations simultaneously in the workforce—from Gen Z to the Silent Generation. While this diversity of experiences and perspectives has the potential to enrich the workplace, getting there requires thoughtful, human-centered approaches to building policies, practices, engagement, and culture.

Join us on Monday, April 29th from 2-3:30 ET as we focus our attention on a segment of this intergenerational workforce. In Belonging in the Workplace: Building an Adolescent-friendly Culture, we will be joined by two experts in their respective fields to guide our learning.

Dr. Joanna Lee Williams, Senior Director of Research at the Search Institute and the National Research Council on Adolescence, will share her research-based approaches to developing equitable, positive youth development practices that understand, center, and support adolescents. Julia Hillengas, Executive Director of PowerCorps, will share her experience and learnings applying a customized framework and template designed to build an equity-centered workplace. Together, they will help participants access research and understand the value, application, and learnings that can help leaders build equitable, adolescent-friendly workplaces that center belonging while driving intergenerational synergies.

This optional session is open to all partners and is ideal for managers leading talent management and organizational culture inclusive of adolescents through age 25. It  will be moderated by Uva Coles, Chief Learning Officer at Spring Point Partners, and is part of Spring Point Partners’ Learning Series.
