Adolescence—approximately ages 10 to 25—is a dynamic period of biological, cognitive, and social changes that make youth and young adults especially sensitive to certain types of learning and experiences, creating opportunities to influence lifetime wellbeing and strengthen communities.
In this scientist-led briefing, the UCLA Center for the Developing Adolescent will discuss this rapid period of growth, the social systems that intersect and impact adolescence, and opportunities to equitably support the developmental needs of our young people. This session will explore how this shows up in the workplace and how employers can better meet the needs of their younger workforce.
Breakfast and coffee will be served during the session!
This event is being presented in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Philadelphia Department of Commerce.
